In between sorting out bills/statements and coffee sipping, I managed to start reading this book.
I am considering whether to continue reading as I do not agree with all that the authors are getting at and the use of Scriptures which are out of context.
Oh and not to mention all the pop culture references too!

Just popping in to say that although loads of people recommended "Captivating" to me, I really couldn't get past the 'It's okay to start crying now' sentence.

i too started reading this book by recommendation. i don't know whether to continue but i am hoping there are some helpful things in there - just gotta be careful i guess! i couldn't get pass all the titanic and cora/mohican references hehehe. oh and didn't like how the author was almost 'mocking' proverbs 31 woman!
Can't even remember the jibe at Prov 31...but vaguely recall the movie stuff. I decided to stop reading it. Picked up Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets instead!
